Redwood Heights Improvement AssociationThe Redwood Heights Improvement Association, which was established in 1944, is one of the oldest voluntary neighborhood associations in Oakland. Straddling an old logging run now known as Redwood Road, Redwood Heights is a neighborhood of homes built from the mid '20s to the '50s. The first development was known as Avenue Terrace. Redwood Heights is also one of the oldest subdivisions in the city. Home styles vary from "storybook style" to colonial to '50s ranch modern. Gardens in Redwood Heights vary from formal to English country. Redwood Heights residents take pride in their homes and it shows.
Redwood Heights Improvement Association is a voluntary homeowner's association that everyone is welcomed to join at very modest yearly dues of $10.00 per voting member of each household.
News and Views is produced by the Redwood Heights Improvement Association and is published four times a year.
All residents are invited to join the association and contribute to the newsletter.

Redwood Heights Improvement Association has monthly meetings the third Wednesday of every month, 7:30 - 9p.m. Meetings are held at the Redwood Heights Recreation Center located at 3883 Aliso Avenue. The cross street is Redwood Road and the location is ideally close to the Redwood Heights Elementary School.
